Westport 40 is a bumper festival of athletics to celebrate Westport Athletics Club’s 40th anniversary.
The weekend will commence with the Mile Festival, Friday, September 13th on the Westport Athletics Track, Horkan’s Hill, Westport.
This is a series of mile races to celebrate Ireland’s glory days of mile running 40 years ago, for ages from 8 to 80, with a show stopping club senior male and female mile.
Registration for this event is available on the night at Westport Track.
Entry Fees
U10 & U12 €10 per team
U14 and up €5 per person
Registration for each category will close approx 30 mins before the race is due to start.
- €400 cash prize for the top senior male and female
- €100 for the winning under 18 teams
Presentations will take place at the track after each event.
