We are thrilled to announce that on Sunday May 8th at 11 am we will have our third 5k Fun Run. 100% of our proceeds will go towards the Autism Suite in the school.
This is a family friendly event and we hope to see runners & walkers of all ages taking part. Past, present and future students are especially welcome to attend. So pop on your runners and enjoy a morning of running, jogging or walking around the streets of Wexford!
Refreshments will be provided in the school after the event.

We are delighted to welcome you to the 3rd Wexford CBS 5k fun run in aid of our autism suite. The race will start at 11am on Sunday 8th May.
Please read the information below carefully:
Race day info:
Car parking: While there will be limited street parking near to the school, there is plenty of parking in nearby car parks at Petitts Supervalu (300m from start and finish), Bride street church (100m) and Tesco (400m).
Route: The race will start at the school car park and turn left onto Thomas street. The first 400m will go up Thomas street/Green street and take a right after Petitts supervalu. The run will continue on Whitemill road, past Lidl and Joycesreaching the roundabout just past Joyces where runners will turn left back towards the town. Participants will take the first exit at the next roundabout and will then turn left just after that roundabout and do a u-turn at the top of that road by the driving test centre. Runners will then take a left coming back out onto the R733 and head down towards the Bishopswater roundabout where they will take the second exit. The route will continue straight on Distillery road until the junction at Tesco where runners take a left turn back up towards the school. The runners will take a left turn at the Boker Nua back onto Thomas street. Runners will take one final turn into the school car park where they will have 50m to go.
On the day entry and number collection for online entries: Anyone not registered online can register on the day from 9:30 to 10:45 am. Adults entry fee is €10, child under 16 €5 and family rate €25 (two adults, two children). For those registered online, all numbers for the race can be collected from 9:30 to 10:45 am. Race entry and collection will be in the school car park.
Toilets: There will be toilets in the school just 100m from the start and finish line.
Race:
The race start time is 11am.
The race route is marked in kilometres.
Race numbers must be visible and worn on the front of tshirts/tops.
Race results will be published on the afternoon of the 8th May on the school facebook and Instagram accounts.
Prizes:
There will be prizes for the first 3 males, first 3 females and first 3 students. There will also be a number of spot prizes on the day. Prizes will be presented in the ASD suite after the race.
Post race:
There will be water and fruit provided at the finish line. There will be further refreshments provided in the ASD suite after the race.
Safety:
The course will be marshalled by a large team of stewards. Please obey any of their instructions. This is to ensure the safe running of the event. The health and safety of all participants and spectators is our primary concern.
There will be a dedicated first aid team and ambulance on the race route.
