A firm favourite for many years, the Kinsale Regatta 5 Mile Road Race traditionally takes place on the Friday evening of the Kinsale Regatta on the August Bank Holiday weekend.
This is a fast course well suited to achieving a personal best set in the beautiful surroundings of Kinsale. Starting at the local GAA club, the finish line is right in the centre of town where there is always a fantastic carnival atmosphere!

Their is parking in town but their will be no volunteers at these car parks.
Registration, Race Number/ T-Shirt collection opens at 6pm and closes 7pm at Kinsale GAA Pitch.
Race Number/T-Shirt collection will also be available on Thursday evening in a different location. The Friary Centre next to the Church. Thursday 6:30pm to 7:30pm if you are in the area this will take pressure off race day.

We have a bag drop this year at Kinsale Gaa pitch race HQ. Bags will be collected here and delivered to Temperance hall up stairs where prizes and food will be Temperance hall is 100 metres from finish line. https://maps.app.goo.gl/iU8h7DSeJqM2453b9
Prize giving is at Temperance Hall next to the finish line at 8:45pm. There will be sandwiches, cakes, biscuits water, coffee and tea.
Stronger with Siobhan will be doing race day warm up next to start line on the pitch to get you all fired up.
Tracy McCarthy head to toe therapies Kinsale and Clonakilty will be giving free sports massages at the finishing line to athletes.
No headphones, no walkers, and all athletes have to be over 18.
