Question: What do I wear when I take part in a pool-based triathlon?
Answer: Most people wear a Trisuit. This can be a one or two piece suit. Trisuits are designed to wear for the swim, bike and run. Some athletes wear swimming togs and put shorts and tee shirt on after the swim for the bike and run, however a trisuit is the preferred option for most athletes. Depending on the weather on the day, athletes may choose to wear a jacket over the trisuit for the bike and run.
Question: Can athletes choose what wave they are in?
Answer: No, all waves will be organised based upon the athletes estimated swim times.
Question: Will there be food and water on the course?
Answer: There will be water on the run at the 2.5km turnaround. There will be refreshments at the finish line.
