The Calcutta Run 2018 – Organising Committee:
We engaged the services of Pop Up Races for this years Calcutta Run, promoted by the Law Society of Ireland.
Pop Up Races provided the race tshirts, as well as race timing, gantry hire, clock hire, lead car hire and event management services for our 1,500 participants.
We experienced exceptional merchandise service in the run up to the event. The ordered t-shirts arrived a week before the expected date and the quality of these were excellent.
Brian and his team on the day looked after the timing of the event, and put systems in place to ensure that even when people decided before and during the run to switch from the 10k to the 5k, the results were unaffected. Results were published in live time on the Pop Up Races website, and everything ran extremely smoothly.
We would have no problem recommending Pop Up Races, they provided an excellent service at an affordable price.
THE CALCUTTA RUN COMMITTEE
The Longwood 5k/10k:
For the last 7 years, we have struggled to get a timing company that could produce accurate results in a timely manner, however at the Longwood 5k/10k, 2016, we were in a position to hand out all prizes for all age groups almost immediately after the race, with no issues at all.
We also used their paperless registration system on the day which ran smoothly. Brian & Dave were a pleasure to deal with throughout the organisation process and on the day itself.

The Edenderry 10 Mile:
Really professional from the time of booking right through to the end of the event. We held our first 10mile race event in Edenderry and the lads were brilliant. Managed everything and provided a great atmosphere for runners at the start and finish. Highly recommend pop up races and we’ll definitely be booking them for next year
