Chip timing is the core service provided by Pop Up Races. Using the latest technology provided through our partners, Race Result, Pop Up Races have a package to suit you.
We cater for events in Running, Swimming, Cycling, Triathlon, Equestrian, and whether we are timing 5 participants or 5,000 participants, are procedures for timing events remain the same.
Our goal for continuous improvement is epitomiosed in our “Queries in 24 hours” KPI, tracked weekly, and through constant revision of how we operate, as well as the constant improvements offered by Race Result, we have just recorded a KPI of 0.001% (November 2018). This means that for every 1,000 finishers at our event, only 1 is contacting us post race with a query.
All events we time are provided with timing points at both the start & finish AS STANDARD (we do not charge to provide chip timing, we believe its a basic requirement for all events), and through a series of back up hardware at events, as well as several detailed software checks behind the scenes, we have brought the amount of queries we receive to the very minimum.
We also offer timing extras like announcer mats, timing splits, flying miles and much more, as well as instant text results, league tables, and anything else you may require.
