The Achill Half Marathon & 10k operations team wish to inform you as a valued participant of our event that we have taken the difficult decision to postpone our 2021 event due to Covid 19. Given the ever changing and uncertain future regarding event restrictions and keeping in mind the health and safety of the local Achill community and our entrants we have been left with no option but to cancel our event for this year.
However, we are delighted to stage the Achill Half Marathon & 10k VIRTUAL Race once again for 2021! Last year we hosted our first virtual event which passed off with great success and we received positive feedback from entrants.
The dates for completing the virtual race will be from the 3rd of July to 24th July 2021. We ask all Virtual entrants to follow all public health guidelines when completing their times. Registered entrants to the Virtual race will be emailed with details on uploading their times closer to the time of the event.
