ARC 5k & 10k Run 2022

This years ARC 5k 10k takes place in the Phoenix Park (Khyber Road, across from the Papal Cross) on Bank Holiday Monday, May 2nd at 9.30am

The race takes place on a 2.5km loop. Parking is advised at the Papal Cross Car Park

Ticket options as follows (prices exclude booking fee)

  • 10k Early Bird Opens Friday 25th Feb at 9am and closes Monday 28th March at 5pm Price €18

   

  • Regular 5k Opens Monday 28th March at 5pm and closes Sat 30th April at midnight Price €18
  • Regular 10k Opens Monday 28th March at 5pm and closes Sat 30th April at midnight Price €22

   

  • Late Reg 5k Opens the morning of the race at 7:30am Price €20
  • Late Reg 10k Opens the morning of the race at 7:30am Price €25

About ARC:

ARC provides a psychological, emotional,  educational support and complementary therapy services to men and women affected by cancer. Whether someone has recently been diagnosed with cancer, is in recovery, or is a family member or friend of someone with cancer, ARC offers a warm and caring environment to nurture the individual, relieve their stress and anxiety, and encourage healing.  All our services are free of charge.

THANK YOU for registering for the ARC 5K & 10K Run 2022!!

Join our ARC Ambassador Jason Byrne (comedian and author) who will start the race at 9.30am sharp on Bank Holiday Monday, 2^nd May 2022 in the leafy surroundings of Phoenix Park.

On the day of the race. PLEASE NOTE:

• The 2022 ARC run will start at 9:30am sharp on Acres Road (Opposite the Popes Cross) in the Phoenix Park. All levels of fitness are welcome (and walkers frequently come along too).

• The ARC Run route has changed from previous years and will start on Acres Road, opposite the Popes Cross, and will continue around the back of the Magazine Fort and football grounds and loop back to Acres Road. This scenic flat route race takes place on a 2.5km loop.

• IMPORTANT: Those taking part in the 5k run must loop the route twice and those taking part in the 10k run must loop the route four times. (Please see map attached. Purple Route)

• On the day of the event race numbers and chip timing will be available for collection from our assigned station on the top Acres Road, opposite the Popes Cross, in the Phoenix Park from 8:00am. The timing will be co-ordinated by Pop up Races.

• We advise participants who are driving to the event to park in the Popes Cross Car Park. Early arrival is advisable.

• ARC Cancer Support Centres will also operate late entry on race day between 8:00am – 9:15am only. Late registration will cost €25.

• As the race is chip-timed, your result will be available straight away and full results will be available online soon after the race ends on ie

• There will be toilet facilities available at the top of Acres Road

• Water, fruit, and bars will also be available for all runners

• The route will be occupied with ARC Stewards to guide you along the route. The Civil Defence will also be on site.

• Prizes will be awarded as follows & given out to the winners at the finish line:
