Bere Island Projects Group CLG in conjunction with Beara AC look forward to welcoming you to Bere Island on Saturday 16th October 2021 for the third race of our annual Beara A.C. Autumn 5 Mile Road Race Series. We are delighted to have Murphy’s SUPERVALU, Castletownbere as our main sponsor again this year and have also been assisted by Cork Sports Partnership. The race takes place on Bere Island. The start line is located near to Race HQ in the village. It is a single-lap, right-handed, clockwise course. See course Map. The course is measured by Mark Gallagher, Beara AC (Athletics Ireland Approved Road Course Measurer)
Some important information about the event:
*Event Starts at 2.30pm
*This is Race 3 of a 4 Race Series.
*Those entering all four races will receive a commemorative 2021 Beara A.C. race series Medal
*Single Race entry: €20 (+booking fee)
*Race Number postage is included on both individual & bundle entries up to the Monday before the event. – If you do not receive your number in the post please contact.

* Prizes for 1st, 2nd 3rd place Male & Female and category 1st prizes from over 40 to over 60.

This race takes place on open Public Roads around Bere Island, on the Beara Peninsula, West Cork.
