ONLINE REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED – REGISTRATION AND NUMBER PICK UP FROM 9AM SATURDAY IN ST FECIHINS CHURCH
Preparations are at the final stages for the Parish Festival ’17 which takes place in Collinstown + Fore Parish on 29 September and continues each day concluding with a parish party on Sunday 8 October.
The second last day of the festival – Saturday 7th October at 11.00am there will be a 5km run/walk and also a family cycle. Both finishing at St Mary’s church Collinstown with refreshments being served in the church grounds
On the day registration in St Fecihin’s church carpark opens at 9:00am.
Race starts at St Feichin’s school Fore and will finish at St Marys church Collinstown. There will be a shuttle bus to return people back to Fore.

At the short prayer service at 10.30am will take place in St Feichin’s church, our guest speaker Mary Stefanazzi (psychotherapist) will focus on the importance of exercise and sport in encouraging positive mental health. At the end of the service there will be a blessing of bicycles and footwear.
The 10 day Festival will conclude on Sunday 9 October with Mass at 11.30am in St Mary’s church followed by light lunch for everyone. After lunch on the Sunday there will be entertainment and at 2.00pm 15 teams will take part in a tug of war competition. There will also be face painting and different activities for young people. The day will conclude with the Parish Draw- Volkswagen Polo as first prize.
Everyone is welcome to some or all of the Festival ’17 especially to the 5km Run/walk on the Saturday 7 October and you do not have to be from the parish to attend the different events . Fr Patrick hopes the Festival will highlight the importance of the Parish Community in Irish life and also show how the Christian faith both helps and supports society. ‘I hope that the Festival ’17 and all who are involved will help witness to God in a world that has problems finding Him ’
