This is a looped five mile course taking in the back roads and main roads between Ballinspittle & Garrettstown beach near the Old Head of Kinsale.

****RACE DAY INFO**** - NOTE CHANGE OF VENUE FOR PRIZEGIVING & REFRESHMENTS

NUMBER COLLECTION (see map below)
Your race number & pins / tee shirt will be available from Garrettstown Pitch & Putt Club,
Garrylucas, Dooneen, Old Head of Kinsale, Cork. Map location: JCRP+3C Old Head, County Cork on Saturday 15th of March from 2pm - 4pm and again on race morning Sunday 16th March from 9:00am - 10:10am.

We would like to urge anyone living within an easy driveable distance to collect their number/tee shirt on Saturday to ease pressure and ensure we start the race on time at 10.30am on Sunday.

RACE NUMBER
Please wear your race number on the front of your t-shirt and on your outermost layer of clothing. Do not bend your number as it may damage the chip. Do not pierce the chip with your race pins.

PARKING (see map below)
Please allow enough time for parking, number collection and getting to the start line. Parking will be available at both public car parks on Garrylucas beach along with limited beachside parking. There is also a small car park 1km from the start line at The Speckled Door as well as 2 small car parks at Garrettstown Beach (1.3km & 0.8km distance from start line).

TOILETS
Public toilets & Portaloos will be available at race HQ and at Garrettstown beach.

BAG DROP / CHANGING AREA / SHOWERS
Unfortunately we cannot provide these facilities this year.

WATER STOP
There will be a water stop just after the half way mark by Ballinspittle National School.

START LINE & START TIME (see map below)
The start line is just 200mtrs from Race HQ. Start time is 10:30am sharp. This area can become quite busy in the later morning so there will be no delay in starting the race.

***PRIZE GIVING & REFRESHMENTS*** NOTE VENUE CHANGE
Please note Prize giving will take place at Ballinspittle Community Centre from 11:45am / 12pm, there will also be plenty of refreshments and we invite all participants to join us after. Ballinspittle Community Centre is at the bottom entrance to Ballinspittle GAA Pitch, a 2km drive from the finish line.

SAFETY
Bandon Red Cross will be on our course along with over 40 stewards including members of the Irish Coast Guard. Safety regarding the course will be covered in the race brief on race morning.
