Gorey Night Run 2022

February 24th 2022 will see the return of the Gorey Night Run when young and old will hit the streets of Gorey to show their support for North Wexford Hospice.

**TIMED ENTRIES NOW CLOSED – UNTIMED ADULTS/KIDS ONLY**

Now in it’s 7th year, the run has become a hugely popular annual event with 100% of the donations going directly to North Wexford Hospice.

To date, this very worthy cause has raised over €75,000, allowing 100’s of families all over North Wexford to avail of the Hospice services.

Again this year adults and children of all ages and fitness levels are encouraged to take part in this family friendly event.

So dust off the runners and join us on February 24th at 7.30pm for the 2022 Gorey Night Run.

* Race numbers and tshirts will be posted out 1 week before the event.

**Event will be run in accordance with any public health guidelines in place at the time of the event

Please read the following pre event info carefully:

• The race starts at 7:30 sharp, and you should be at the start area ready to go no later than 7:20
• If you have paid for a timed entry, you should have your chip in the post by tomorrow. If it has not arrived, go to the start area at the Gorey Library and make yourself known to a volunteer and we'll arrange a replacement number for you. If your tee hasn't arrived in the post, it will arrive late, or come back to the Pop Up Races office undelivered. In either scenario, you will get the tee eventually so there is no need to request a replacement tomorrow.
• On arrival at the start area (Gorey Library) please adhere to guidance of the stewards at all times
• Gorey Shopping Centre, Gorey Library & Gorey VTOS (ETB) will be open for use of their facilities.
• If you have friends or family who would like to take part on the night they can come along, however chipped timing will not be available on the night.
• There is no parking available at the civic square.
• The route is as follows:
  Start at Gorey Civic Square.
  Turn left onto the Avenue. Continue down the Main Street turning at the bottom to return up
  Main Street. Turn right at Johns Street. Follow Fort Road until right turn at Scholars walk. Continue up until creagh college.
  Turn at the top & return back down turning right towards the Carnew Rd. Turn left onto Carnew Rd.
  At the monument turn right in the direction of Paul Funge Boulevard.
  Follow Paul Funge Boulevard until left turn onto The Avenue.
  Retuning to the Civic Square.
