IWA Run ‘n’ Roll returns to St Anne’s Park this September, proudly supported by Liberty Insurance.
Irish Wheelchair Association’s Run ‘n’ Roll 5k and 2.5k will take place on September 4th, 2022 in St Anne’s Park, Raheny. This beautiful setting provides us with the perfect, accessible, route ensuring runners, walkers, wheelchair users and buggies are all safely catered for. The event promises to be a fun filled, family affair with kids face painting, pre-race warm up, refreshments and family entertainment at the finish line.
All participants will receive a bespoke finishers’ medal.
This event will raise vital funds to support provision of additional services for members of the Youth Service and Rehabilitative Training programme in the Irish Wheelchair Association based in Clontarf.

An email will go out to everyone who has registered for the race later this week with all the details.
Registration time: Registration will open from 12pm ahead of the race gun going at 1pm. Please ensure you have adequate time to sign-in and collect your t-shirt/pack.

We have some important race day information and instructions for you to read below.
Race numbers & t-shirts:
All race numbers and t-shirts can be collected from our registration desk at the start/finish line from 12pm on Sunday.
Registration/start location:
Our registration desk will be located next to the start/finish line which will be located on the main avenue in the park.
Car parking:
Please, wherever possible walk, jog, cycle or use public transport when attending the event. If you do need to drive, please arrive early and carpool where possible. There is limited car parking available in the Red Stables car park and around the perimeter of St Anne’s park. There are a limited number of wheelchair accessible spaces available within the park.
Race times:
1pm sharp
Please note you must pass under the start line gantry to activate your chip time.
Please follow the instructions of the stewards at all times.
Wheelchair users are welcome to join at the front of the start line to ensure a safe start. Runners and walkers will follow after a short period of time.
Race facilities:
Portaloos will be available near the start/finish line. We are delighted to announce that Accessoloo will be on site on the day ensuring all participants needs are catered for. More information about Accessoloo can be found here:
There are public toilets also available in St Anne’s Park close to the Red Stables car park entrance.
Bag drop:
Bag drop is available near the start/finish line. Please do not leave any valuables as we cannot take responsibility for any loss or damage to any items.
Water stations:
There will be water available at the finish line. Water will be provided in compostable cups. We ask that you kindly use the bins provided to dispose of your cups.
Medals/goodie bags:
Each participant will receive a medal - this will be handed to them after they cross the finish line.
All participants will also receive a goodie bag on completion.
Bananas and water will also be available.
Photography/videography consent:
There will be a number of photographers and videographers on the day capturing the fun and excitement as you Run’n’Roll your way around our fabulous, flat, accessible course.
At registration you will be asked to consent to Irish Wheelchair Association and Liberty Insurance to include you/your child in photographs, recordings and images taken at the race. This includes but is not limited to the distribution of said images/videos on Liberty Insurance’s and IWA’s websites, social media pages, internal communications and websites and by email. - Within the scope of the Event, Liberty Seguros, Compañía de Seguros y Reaseguros, S.A. (trading in Ireland as Liberty Insurance), the data controller of your personal data/your child’s personal data, may process your personal data by recording and reproducing image and sound, by video and/or photograph, as well as your name (hereinafter "materials"), as a participant, including guest speakers, in the Event. The materials are collected/captured by Liberty Insurance, or by a provider chosen by it for the purpose.
- Liberty Insurance processes your data for subsequent disclosure and publication in different forums or spaces, such as social networks, website, internal platforms or by e-mail to Liberty Insurance network, in order to publicise the Event, based on Liberty Insurance legitimate interest in promoting its brand and image among the public and internally, and to publicise its network, including, therefore, for promotional purposes.
