The 11th year of the very popular Louisburgh event – The Clew Bay Half Marathon & 10K is an annual favourite of many and is a popular holiday destination along with a very popular pre-Dublin City Marathon run.
Louisburgh is surrounded by stunning beaches (to soak the muscles) with lovely pubs and eateries, close to Westport, and Croagh Patrick, and with items of historical interest – the run passes right by a 2,200 year old Dolmen! You’ll love it!
The Half marathon will start at 11am, the 10k at 11:30am.
Note – Online Registration will close at 200 entries, and race numbers will be posted out to participants from September 13th. The event will adhere to all Public Health Guidelines and Athletics Ireland guidelines at the time.

Half Marathon starts at 11am, 10k at 11:30
- Race HQ and Parking is at Louisburgh GAA Clubhouse.
- The event is sold out, there is no on the day entry
- For those participants that requested postage, you should have received your race number by now. If not please approach one of the Pop Up Races staff on Saturday morning and we'll arrange for a replacement number for you. If you took your option of a place via the waiting list after Monday of this week, your number has not been posted and you can pick it up on the morning.
- Parking is available at the clubhouse which is only 3 mins walk from Louisburgh Village. Please car pool where possible. There is confimation in the Town on Saturday morning, so there will be no parking available around the church.
- Directions: Coming from Westport, go straight through the village of Louisburgh across the bridge and the end of town, and approx 300metres on the left is the GAA Clubhouse (start/finish of race).
