Make-A-Wish Ireland 100km is a virtual run/walk/treadmill or cycle challenge taking place in December.
Keep the Christmas excess at bay by logging your kms each time you run/walk/cycle in December while also raising money for charity.

Our charity partner, Make-A-Wish Ireland has one simple aim – to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions, bringing hope, strength and happiness. Since 1992, Make-A-Wish has granted wishes for more than 2,500 brave children across Ireland, including 211 wishes granted in 2018 alone. A wish granted is true magic for the child, providing respite from their normal routines of hospitals, doctors and treatment. Make-A-Wish does not receive any government funding, and relies overwhelmingly on the kindness of the Irish public to continue granting wishes.

Make-A-Wish Ireland has been creating life changing wishes for children with serious illnesses since 1992. We believe that a wish has a lasting impact on the life of a wish child and their families. Therefore, our vision is that every child living with a life-threatening illness in Ireland is granted a wish as part of their treatment.
Every day we receive applications from families in need of help, for wishes which allow children to escape routine of hospital visits and treatments, replacing them with carefree, life-changing experiences. As of today, we have 198 children on our waiting list. But we have never turned away an eligible child. But to continue our work this year we need your help.
