Oblate Invalid Lourdes Fund, Newbridge & Kilmeague Group 10k & 6k Fun Run

The event is to raise money for the Oblate Invalid Lourdes Fund, Newbridge & Kilmeague Group.

This is our 37^th year of going to Lourdes (1980-2016), and have been taking on average 25 people each year, this year we have at least 36 people who are looking to be taken to Lourdes and we are hoping to achieve that.

Lourdes offers the opportunity to reach out and help others. Lourdes asks us to put other people and their needs before our own, especially those that are sick. In Lourdes, the sick are rightly called “The Guests”.

All proceeds of our fundraising goes to take the sick to Lourdes. Outside of that all other pilgrims and volunteer helpers look after their own fares.

On the day registration opens at 12:15pm.  Race starts at 1pm.

Adult €10, Child €5, Family 2 Adults 2 Children €25.

Refreshments available after Race in Allen Hall.
