Registration is available online and on the day.
Registration and bag pick up will be at Mernagh’s Oylegate on Saturday 28th of August, 5pm to 8pm and morning of race at GAA grounds from 8am.
Virtual Run Option
If you can’t attend in person, a virtual run option is also available. Run the race and contact the Event Facebook Page and we’ll post your medal and tshirt to you!
What’s Included?
Sports Tops for first 250 registered.
Medals for all finishers.
SPOT PRIZES
Refreshments will be provided before the prize presentation after the race in the GAA complex

AAI PERMIT
No bicycles, roller skates or pets on the course. Children must be accompanied. NO ipods/MP3 (AII rules) Walkers please make way for runners. 10k/ half marathon runners must be over 18 years on the race day
NOTE RE NUMBER POSTAGE: Number postage option available on all race entries (€3.00 surcharge) up to seven days before the event. After that number collection only available. Please note that number postage does not include your t-shirt.

Below is some information ahead of this Sundays Oylgate 10k & Half Marathon
Start Times
1/2 Marathon Walkers only: 09.30
1/2 Marathon & Relay: 10:00
10k Race/Run/Walk: 10:30
RACE NUMBER PICK UP
Registration and bag pick up will be at 8am morning of race at GAA grounds in Oylgate. If you have decided to switch from the 10k to Half or Vice Versa, you can let a member of the registrataion team know when you pick your number up.
The ROUTE
The 10k race takes place on a single loop, starting outside the GAA and finishing on the GAA pitch. The Half Marathon is 2 laps of that same loop, starting about 1km from the GAA grounds.
OTHER INFO
There is parking available at the GAA - please follow the direction of the marshals.
We would ask that all runners try to minimize your interactions with others and stay within your club training groups where possible
If you have symptoms of Covid, please do not attend. If you have been in close contact with a person who has been confirmed with Covid in the last 14 days, please do not attend
There can unfortunately be no post race gathering, and so prizes will be posted out to winners early next week.
