We are excited to have you attend this years Santa Dash on Sunday 1st December at St Annes Park. Below is all the information you need for race weekend.
Santas elves have been hard at work getting ready for the Santa Dash this year!
Race Details:
Date: Sunday 1st December 2024
5k and 10k Start Time: 12pm
2.2k Start Time: 12:30pm
Location: St. Annes Park, Clontarf Dublin
Entries are Sold Out - Registration will not be available on race day.
Participants without a bib will not receive a medal.
Bib and Santa Suit Pick Up:
Where possible please collect your bib and santa suit on the 30th November to avoid queues and crowds on race day.
Please bring proof of entry with you to bib collection.
Option 1: From 10am to 5pm on Saturday the 30th November 2024 at the Clonliffe Harriers Club House at Morton Stadium.
Option 2: The morning of the race from 10am to 1130am with race start at 12pm.
Race Course:
5k: red: 1 lap
10k: red: 2 laps
2.2k: yellow: 1 lap
Parking
Parking 1 will be full by 11am.
Parking 2 will be full by 11.15am
After 11.15am please proceed directly to Parking 3 and 4.
Additional roadside parking can also be found on Sybill Hill Rd. and on Watermill Rd. outside the park.
Please allow enough time on race morning to walk from your car to the race start.
Santa Suits:
The santa suits are made from 100% virgin polyester felt. We ask all participants to hold onto their suits to use them again at home or to donate them or re-use the material for home art projects. We are committing to our participants that we will recycle the santa suits left with us by participants that don’t want them after the race. However, from a sustainability perspective it is better that the suits are brought home and re-used in some other way by participants. Clear plastic waste bags will be available on race day specifically for the suits, just ask a volunteer for information on this on race day. If you want to recycle your suits in future, you can bring the suits to a clothing bank and the suits will be recycled.
Bag Check:
We will have an unmanned area for bags and personal items where they will be kept dry. Items left here are left at owners risk.
