We are delighted to announce that this years Sheridan Insurances Ferrycarrig 5 Mile event will take place over the weekend of Friday 1st to Sunday 3rd January 2021. The event will take place virtually due to the ongoing COVID restrictions. This is a great opportunity to try lose those extra ‘ounces’ put on over the festive period!
Walk, Run or Jog any 5 miles route in your own time over that weekend, record your activity on Strava, Garmin, Fitbit [or any GPS tracking device] and submit your evidence via the Pop Up Races mobile App. It couldn’t be easier.
Results portal for the app will open on Friday, Jan 1st and close on Monday lunchtime on the 4th, at which time results will be published. Results can also be logged here: https://www.popupraces.ie/virtual-run-results/
Our perpetual trophies for the Fastest Wexford Male and Female entrants and Team will still up be for grabs this year despite the race not being held in reality for those of you out there with a competitive spirit. There will also be a Team Prize (combined times, 2 males & 2 females).
Participants will receive a fantastic Sheridan Insurances Ferrycarrig 5 medal by post before the end of January.
