Tribal running is delighted to bring to the Galway Streets the inaugural GREEN MILE races on St.Patricks Day.
Featuring a Mile race for all Ages,Abilities and Fitness levels just prior to the parade,with crowds to roar you on.
Starting on University Road,passing the Cathedral and crossing the Salmon weir Bridge,check your time on the courthouse clock and get ready to finish at the iconic Brownes Door in Fabulous Eyre Square.
What a great way to start our National Day of Celebration.
There will be 3 Miles races. With a Maximum of 100 entries in each race.
* Primary School Race…From 3rd Class upwards (11am)
* Secondary School Race (11:10am)
* Adults Race (11:20am)
So if you are a parent and would like to enter your child and they are in primary school ,3rd class or higher,then the primary schools race is for them and so on.
Entry fees
Schools Races €5 plus bookig fee and postage of race number.
Adults €10 plus booking fee and postage of race number.
We are also delighted to have the Adults Race as the Tribal Running All Ireland Road Mile Championships.
With the following categories.
Junior,Senior,O40,O50,O60,O70 titles to be won.Mens and Womens.
Tribal Running operates a NO late entry fee policy,its the same price for an early or late Bird.
We put all proceeds back into local athletics projects,you don’t need to be a member of any club or society or pay membership.we believe in keeping our events easy to access for anyone that wants to take part in the sport.
Without the Athletes there is no Race.
Course map and race day instructions/assembly times will follow by email to all entrants.
