The Monaghan 10 Miler starts in front of the courthouse in Church Square. Completing a loop of the town the runners head out the Clones road towards the picturesque village of Ballinode returning to the finish line in Church square.

MONAGHAN 10 MILER
PARKING:
Ample parking available in Monaghan Courthouse carpark and Glaslough Street carpark. Both can be found n Google maps and are within meters of the start line.
RACE SAFETY:
The races tomorrow take place on open roads. All turns, corners and junctions will be manned by marshalls.
PLEASE STAY ON FOOTPATHS WHERE AVAILABLE.
PLEASE OBEY THE MARSHALLS.
WATER STATIONS:
10 miler:
There will be a water station at 3 miles, 5 miles, 6.5 miles and 8 miles for the 10 miler.
5 miler.:
There will be a water station at the 3 mile mark, just after you turn at the cone. Please turn at the cone first- Your water station is on the left AFTER you turn.
All water stations will use reusable plastic cups. Please throw in nearest wheelie bin.
AT THE FINISH LINE:
As you cross the finish line you will receive your medal, bottled water and a banana. Please proceed to the tent for refreshments.
POST RACE REFRESHMENTS:
Tea/Coffee, sandwiches, cakes, buns available for all athletes in the tent after your race. Stay around and soak up the atmosphere.
