- We are looking forward to welcoming you to Kilkenny this Thursday for our annual 5km Road Race. Please read the following information carefully to ensure a safe and smooth running of the race.
Number & T Shirt Collection: Numbers can be collected on Wednesday night from 5.30pm to 7.00pm at the KCH club house at the Watershed or on the night from 5:30pm to 7pm on the Parade down from the start line. WE URGE ANYONE NEARBY TO PICK UP ON WEDNESDAY, AS IT WILL TAKE THE PRESSURE OFF THE REG TEAM ON RACE DAY.
PARTICIPANTS MUST RUN IN THEIR OWN NUMBER
Please remember to obey An Garda Síochána and our marshals at all times. Remember that our marshals and our race committee are volunteers who give up their time to ensure the race's success.
The Route - It is a 2 lap course that starts and finishes on the parade. Please follow the guidance of our stewards at the start line and line up in line with your expected finish time.
There are some parking available in the County Council office car parking, this car park will close at 10pm.
Results - Results will be available in live time on www.popupraces.ie
Prize giving/After party -to be held at Langton House Hotel post race. PRIZE WINNERS MUST GO TO LANGTONS FOR 8:30PM WHERE PRIZES WILL BE GIVEN OUT for the following:
Top 5 males/female,
Top 2 Juniors,
1st place age categories O40, O50, O60
Mixed Team of 6 of 3 male/3 female (Peugeot Race Series)
The prize giving will start at 9pm in the Set in Langtons
